David Gilmour – Remember That Night.

   David Gilmour é dono de um estilo único, seus solos podem ser reconhecidos apenas com uma única nota tocada. Isso está mais que comprovado em seu DVD Remember That Night - Live at the Royal Albert Hall, gravado em três noites na lendária casa londrina Royal Albert Hall em 2006, palco dos maiores.

   Acompanhado por uma banda repleta de feras, onde se destacam o guitarrista Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music), o tecladista Richard Wright (ex-Pink Floyd), o saxofonista Dick Parry (amigo das antigas e com participações em álbuns clássicos como "The Dark Side Of The Moon" e "Wish You Were Here") e o baixista Guy Pratt (The Transit Kings, Bryan Ferry).

   Ainda tem as participações de David Crosby e Graham Nash nos backing vocals de "On an Island", "The Blue", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" e "Find The Cost Of Freedom", dando doses ainda maiores de sensibilidade a canções que já eram originalmente belas, o lendário Robert Wyatt (Soft Machine) tocando trompete em "Then I Close My Eyes" é um momento fantástico.

   Além disso, o show traz um repertório que une grandes clássicos e algumas faixas raramente executadas ao vivo. Destaques para versões irretocáveis de clássicos como "Speak To Me", "Breathe", "Time", "Wish You Were Here", "Smile", "Fat Old Sun", "High Hopes" e "Echoes".

   Um dos principais momentos do DVD ficou reservado para o seu final, com David Bowie  subindo ao palco para cantar dois dos maiores clássicos do Pink Floyd, "Arnold Laine" e "Comfortably Numb". Bowie dá a sua interpretação característica a essas duas músicas, principalmente para "Comfortably Numb"(fantástica), fazendo-a soar revigorada e mostrando o quanto essa canção, lançada originalmente no álbum "The Wall", ainda soa forte e atual.
